I like to research products by applying the highest margin filter to the category that I’m looking into. The ideal profit margin is between $20 to $30 for each product to test. Remember, it takes the same amount of effort to sell a higher ticket item than it does a cheap one. So why not sell a product that gives you some room to make more profit?
For example, when I go to the tech category and select highest margin, I see dozens of products with a profit margin of at least $50. One that sticks out to me is this fold-able electronic piano keyboard that costs $37 with a suggested retail price of $118.
After clicking on it, I’m taken to the product page within the Zendrop app. The product page offers a description that you can use for ad copy, video script, and your product page on your website. It also provides several pictures of the product that I can use for marketing on my store. I can see the piano from multiple angles and understand how it works by the pictures alone.
One of the best features about Zendrop is their access to US suppliers who offer express shipping to your customers in the United States. Reliable shipping means less customer complaints and chargebacks. It also gives you the ability to brand the products you sell. When customers receive their high quality products quickly, they’re much more likely to leave positive reviews, tell their friends, and purchase again. Zendrop offers express shipping in 5 to 7 days for a measly $3.50. For a product with a profit margin of more than $50 it is worth paying the small additional fee to guarantee your customer gets there product as soon as possible.
I also suggest you look up the product yourself on AliExpress to find videos of the product being used if you’re interested in creating your own ad creative. You’ll also need to do this when importing reviews from AliExpress via the Loox app. And as always, I highly suggest you use Viral Ecom Vidz to create your video instead of creating one yourself. The videos they create are worth hundreds of dollars in my opinion. They’re extremely high quality, delivered within 1 to 3 days, and come with a free revision for just $32 per video.
